About the Role
We're seeking an experienced professional with deep knowledge of SAP BTP and extensibility technologies to lead our team's technical direction. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, external service providers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operability and extensibility of our cloud-based SAP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Technical Strategy: Define and enforce SAP extensibility standards across our development and operations context, aligning with industry trends and best practices.
- Technical Leadership: Lead project initiatives, ensuring compliance with extensibility standards and championing their adoption within the organization.
- Team Management: Supervise a team of 15-20 intermediate to senior SAP developers, fostering collaboration and driving individual growth.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with development teams, product owners, project managers, users, and technical teams to understand business requirements and support project goals.
- Staying Current: Maintain and enhance your knowledge of SAP BTP extensibility framework and tools to leverage them for business benefit.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Ensure accurate documentation of development and integration standards, processes, and all technical developments within the landscape.
Requirements
- Deep Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of enterprise SAP BTP and extensibility technical environment, including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and ABAP.
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to various stakeholders.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience, along with 5-7 years of experience managing SAP technical environments.
