Giatec Scientific Inc. is seeking a visionary IT leader to drive the company's digital transformation and innovation. As the Director of IT, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic IT roadmap, leading the IT department, and ensuring the effective and efficient operation of all IT services and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with the company's goals.
  • Identify technology trends and evolving needs to drive digital transformation and innovation.
  • Align IT processes with business goals, develop IT roadmaps, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, including monitoring and controlling expenditures to ensure cost-effective IT operations.
  • Oversee the execution of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability management.
  • Oversee the IT helpdesk and ensure high levels of user satisfaction.
  • Implement and manage IT service management (ITSM) practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT, and preferably at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, network administration, and services in a high-tech environment.
  • Experience with cybersecurity software and services, digital transformation initiatives, and cloud-based corporate and business applications.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning and execution abilities.
  • Proficiency in IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of current IT technologies and trends.
