About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Worker to join our team at D on D Dental. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dental facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Facilities Information: Provide basic information on facilities to patients and staff.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Work Conditions: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding.
  • Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, overtime required, sitting, standing for extended periods, walking.

  • Experience an Asset: Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is an asset.
