About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at BROSOHO Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Source and procure high-quality ingredients to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes.
  • Culinary Leadership
    • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items.
    • Develop and implement effective kitchen procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Identify and address any quality control issues promptly and effectively.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety protocols.
    • Conduct regular health and safety audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
