Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement logistics plans to prioritize tasks and optimize operational efficiency
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics performance and trends
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and logs of logistics activities
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry and administrative tasks
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services
  • Keep track of shipments and inventory levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, as well as highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and practices
