About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Line Technician Foreman to join our team at BC Hydro. As a key member of our transmission line maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our power grid.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of power line technicians in the maintenance and repair of transmission lines
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the reliability of our power grid
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians to help them develop their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Apprenticeship training in power line technology
  • Experience in transmission line maintenance and repair
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
