Travel Coordinator for International Market Development

Arctic Tours Canada is a leading provider of immersive adventure experiences in the Arctic region. We offer daytime activities and northern lights watching at night, catering to guests from all over the world.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Trip Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will work closely with the Marketing Director to create, develop, and execute memorable holiday experiences that support our brand's high guest expectations.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, negotiation, and guided tourism industry knowledge. You will be responsible for collecting and organizing research findings, preparing Request for Proposal documents, reading and negotiating contracts, and establishing new travel partner relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analyze data to inform trip development decisions
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director to create engaging trip storylines and itineraries
- Develop and maintain relationships with travel partners and suppliers
- Manage multiple booking systems, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and English characters
- Deliver compelling presentations and training sessions to internal teams
- Partner with the Experiences Operations team to ensure seamless execution of new itineraries
- Manage social media platforms and create marketing materials for tradeshows and brochure flyers
- Respond to customer inquiries and take bookings over the phone
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in travel product development or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software
- Experience working with REZDY booking system and Experiences booking platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multiple language skills, including Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- Experience working with individuals and teams in remote locations
- Experience in domestic and Asian travel markets
Estimated Salary: $68,000 - $80,000 per year
