The Kativik Municipal Housing Bureau is seeking a skilled Automotive Maintenance Technician to join their team in the beautiful region of Nunavik.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires travel throughout the villages of Nunavik. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining vehicles, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.
As an Automotive Maintenance Technician with the Kativik Municipal Housing Bureau, you will have the opportunity to work in a unique and challenging environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that our fleet of vehicles is in good working condition, which is essential for providing safe and reliable transportation to our residents.

Responsibilities- Perform safety inspections and recommended general maintenance on vehicles;
- Repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles;
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations;
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that our fleet of vehicles is in good working condition;
- Travel throughout the villages of Nunavik to perform maintenance and repairs;
- Diploma in automobile mechanics;
- Compagnon card 1st, 2nd, and 3rd class;
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position;
- Valid driver's license;
- Ability to work in two of the three languages of the region (Inuktitut, French, or English).
