Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Manager to lead our efforts in the Canadian market for Rotating Machinery products. The successful candidate will develop and execute sales strategies, manage regional sales teams, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Leadership
    • Forecast sales and order intake for the Canadian market division
    • Support regional sales managers
    • Define customer targets and allocate sales effort
    • Develop sales and growth strategies
    • Create budgets for travel and promotion
    • Implement and maintain policies
    • Provide sales coverage for a region or market
    • Guide on general Voith Turbo Canada topics as a member of the management team
  • Sales Role
    • Sell Voith Turbo products and services for the Voith Industry Division while achieving group management objectives
    • Develop new customers, including repair and service of competitor products
    • Identify Voith installed base
    • Create customer profiles
    • Maintain customer relationships and plan outages
    • Manage the Salesforce database
    • Promote sales of spare parts, services, and complete units, including retrofit opportunities
    • Collaborate with Focus Sales on new business opportunities
    • Provide field support for the service department in areas of customer quoting and follow-up
    • Work with Inside Sales, Field Service, Retrofit, and Engineering departments to establish schedules and priorities
    • Develop and update installed equipment databases, visit logs, and contacts
    • Support sales to end users, OEMs, and distributor organizations
    • Collaborate with consulting engineers to specify Voith products into projects
    • Participate in trade show exhibits
    • Assist with overdue invoice collection as requested by management
    Requirements:
    • 10 years of related experience with rotating machinery products and services
