About the Role

The Opioid Dependency Program (ODP) and Narcotic Transition Services (NTS) in Edmonton are seeking an experienced, caring, strength-based professional to complement our Health Services Team. This clinical leadership role is focused on providing high-quality patient and family-centered care through effective supervision of clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision to staff providing addiction and/or mental health services to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Supervise regulated staff requiring supervision to meet regulatory requirements for practice, and/or to unregulated staff providing the restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.
  • Conduct team case consultations, offer support, and provide guidance and direction to clinical staff with challenging and urgent cases in a timely manner.
  • Work with members of the interdisciplinary team, psychiatrists, and community partners in support of effective professional and collaborative practice.

Requirements

This position requires a Master's Degree in Psychology or Social Work, active or eligible for full registration with College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) or the Alberta College of Social Work (ACSW). A minimum of 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention, is also required.

Apart from the above-mentioned qualifications, the successful candidate will have experience working with vulnerable populations, knowledge of trauma-informed care principles, and the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary setting.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
