Waste Management Specialist

GFL Environmental seeks a skilled and safety-conscious Roll Off Driver to join our team in the provision of waste removal services. This role requires the ability to operate a roll-off truck and ancillary equipment, as well as maintain accurate records of services performed.
Job DescriptionThis is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and at least one year of commercial driving experience. As a Roll Off Driver, you will be responsible for collecting waste from customer sites and transporting it to post-collection facilities for proper disposal. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate roll-off truck and ancillary equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collect waste from customer sites and transport to post-collection facilities.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety lane inspections and reports.
- Maintain route quality standards and ensure vehicle cleanliness.
- Report any accidents or incidents to supervisors immediately.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A valid CDL (AZ or DZ).
- At least one year of commercial driving experience.
- The ability to meet relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions according to Company standards.
