Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Partner, General Health & Safety to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) program to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement OH&S policies, procedures, and programs to meet health and safety legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Provide training and education to employees on OH&S principles and practices.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to develop and implement strategies to prevent workplace injuries and exposures.
  • Liaise with WorkSafeBC officers and other regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in OH&S.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience.
  • Registration as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or equivalent certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in a unionized environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate related equipment and software programs.
