Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Trane Canada ULC. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, including HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems.
  • Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures.
  • Develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs.
  • Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.
  • Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
  • Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in HVAC systems.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and database software.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and disability benefits, and a pension plan.
