About the Role

This is a permanent position with a 32 hour work week. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, developing, and implementing HR policies and programs
  • Advising managers and employees on HR policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements
  • Establishing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Planning and developing recruitment strategies
  • Administering benefit employment equity and other HR programs
  • Coordinating employee performance and appraisal programs
  • Managing training and development strategies
  • Overseeing the analysis of employee data and information
  • Researching employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommending changes
  • Hiring, training, and supervising staff
