About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Brand Engagement to join our team at Earls Head Office. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing and communications strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans that align with our business objectives and drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Lead a dynamic team of marketing and communications professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand strategies and messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee the development and execution of creative campaigns, including photography, videography, social media, and digital content.
  • Manage the Earls music program, including Birdies Eats & Drinks and Beach House concepts.
  • Oversee the workflow of promotions, ensuring fresh and innovative thinking and timely execution from ideation to reporting.
  • Act as a conceptual and creative thinker, providing structure to ambiguity and staying ahead of trends in marketing, food, bar, and design to maintain the brand's industry leadership.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in Marketing + Communications, with at least 3 years of leadership and management experience.
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with a track record of leading successful teams.
  • Strong project management abilities, with excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing multiple budgets, optimizing resources, and meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with marketing agencies and creative teams to achieve strategic goals.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments to drive cohesive brand strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage and convey complex ideas.
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms - basic knowledge of SEO is a plus.
  • Industry experience in hospitality, food, or beverage is an asset.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, MailChimp, Google Analytics, WordPress, and Meta Business Manager.
