Job Overview

Herman's Supply Company seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Representative for Contractors to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business with contractors in the store and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize each sale that originates from walk-in clients, our website, business partners, marketing campaigns, email requests, and other methods through a combination of inbound and outbound contact strategies.
  • Effectively qualify, conduct needs analysis, and follow-up with prospects to ensure they purchase products and services that meet their needs.
  • Field and respond to incoming calls and other inquiries.
  • Cold-calling contractors and related lead generation.
  • Attain and exceed direct and cross-sell sales goals.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Ability to prospect, qualify, and close sales.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of B2B sales experience required; experience dealing with contractors a definite asset.
  • Sales experience in the construction industry is preferable.
  • Must be comfortable meeting and exceeding monthly quotas.
  • Proficient organizational skills and good problem-solving skills.
