We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at The Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our cleaning and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to prevent dust buildup and allergens
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a sterile environment
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures and protocols
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
