Retail Implementation Manager

The Central Group is an industry leader in performance-driven marketing-at-retail solutions. We specialize in packaging and point-of-purchase (POP) display with clients across North America.
As a Retail Implementation Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of retail projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with internal design and engineering teams, project managers, sub-contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the company's quality standards.
Responsibilities:- Manage multiple retail implementation projects simultaneously, from initial planning and permitting to final inspection and store opening.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure adherence to these plans throughout the project lifecycle.
- Select, negotiate, and manage relationships with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and suppliers with our in-house estimating team.
- Assist in the bidding processes and evaluate proposals to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and financial reporting for all assigned projects with the rest of the project team.
In this role, you will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, provincial, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations. Additionally, you will develop and maintain detailed project schedules with our project managers and coordinate with contractors to ensure timely completion of each project phase.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Industrial Design, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in interior retail or exterior construction management, preferably with multi-site or high-volume projects.
- Experience in experiential, retail Pop-ups, exhibit design, and temporary retail concepts is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, budgeting, scheduling, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in construction management software and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
