Our Toronto office is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Transaction Specialist to join our team and provide support to the Commercial Real Estate practice group.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in commercial real estate transactions, from onset to completion. Key responsibilities include:

  • Compiling information and drafting written reports, opinions, and accounting documents for clients;
  • Monitoring and following up on undertakings and escrow conditions;
  • Reviewing and analyzing agreements of purchase and sale, credit facility and loan commitments, contracts, leases, opinions, municipal applications, requisitions on title, and responses;
  • Conducting due diligence for transactions, including title searching, corporate and ancillary searches, and off-title enquiries;
  • Calculating, drafting, and analyzing statements of adjustments and other financial documentation and data;

A Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent is required, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling complex commercial real estate transactions in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential, as well as knowledge of legal-related accounting programs. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field (preferred);
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions;
