We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sushi Team Member to join our team at Sushi 97 Limited. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving sushi dishes, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and serve sushi dishes, including preparation of ingredients, cooking, and presentation.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards and procedures.
- Operate dishwashers, washing dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand, and ensure they are sanitized and stored properly.
- Restock supplies, including condiments, cleaning products, and other items as needed.
- Assist with food preparation, including cutting, slicing, and trimming ingredients.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in culinary arts an asset.
- Minimum one year of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
