Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team at L.S. Carriers in Truck Mechanic. This role requires strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with various types of heavy equipment.

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site position that involves repairing and maintaining our fleet of trucks. As a Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are in good working condition, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting complex issues.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose problems with heavy equipment
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
  • Test and inspect repaired equipment to ensure it is functioning properly
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed
Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to loud noises, dust, and physical labor. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of heavy equipment repair and maintenance principles
  • Experience working with diesel engines and other mechanical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $$55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
