About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team in Victoria, B.C. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, prioritizing vehicle maintenance, and providing support to students during boarding and exiting the bus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently
  • Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus
  • Provide support to students with special needs
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and transportation staff

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 license
  • At least 21 years old
  • 3 years of unrestricted driving experience
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Recent clear vulnerable sector check
  • Pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background check

What We Offer

  • $24.75/hour starting wage
  • $3000 new hire bonus for Class 1 and 2 applicants
  • No experience necessary; we train and pay you $17/hour while in our training program
  • 4-hour guarantee
  • Additional hours available on charter routes
