At MANITOBA CORP., we are seeking a skilled Painter - Exterior and Interior Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors. You will also be required to estimate costs and materials, and advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and with odors
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots and uniform
