Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Bear Country Inn Ltd.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring exceptional customer service and high-quality culinary experiences for our guests. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding results.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and location considerations.
Job Description- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective meal preparation and presentation.
- Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively.
- Budgeting and Cost Estimation: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, manage inventory, and prepare budget reports to ensure cost control and profitability.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maintain Records: Accurately record and maintain stock, repairs, sales, and wastage records, providing valuable insights for operational improvements.
- Excellent Communication: Possess excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, and guests.
- Team Player: Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills, working closely with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Organized: Display exceptional organizational skills, prioritizing tasks, managing time, and meeting deadlines efficiently.
