Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Victoria's Pizza. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports

Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Or equivalent experience

Work Setting: The work setting is a restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Supervision: The supervisor will be responsible for supervising 3-4 people.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The work conditions and physical capabilities required for this role include standing for extended periods, working under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines.

Personal Suitability: The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and have a client-focused approach.
