We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cook's Helper to join our team at Seasons Retirement Communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare meals for residents and guests, ensuring dietary needs are met and presentation is exceptional.
- Operate and maintain food production equipment and food preparation areas in a clean and safe manner.
- Comply with all food preparation standards and health and safety requirements.
- Wash, clean, and store dishes, cutlery, fixtures, and equipment used for food preparation and service.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the dining experience.
- Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
- Current Safe Food Handler's Certification.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively, and follow written/verbal instructions.
- Organizational skills and ability to work under strict time constraints.
- High standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Experience working in a kitchen is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds is considered an asset.
