Job Description

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Human Resources Business Consultant. As a trusted partner and member of our global organization, you will bring deep insight and expertise in human resources to support business issues.

You will consult with and influence within assigned business areas to take action on emerging people-related topics, culture upgrading, employee engagement, and translate business requirements into human capital imperatives. Through collaborative partnerships with other HRBPs/HRBCs and HR Centres of Excellence, you will utilize the full value chain of HR to derive relevant HR solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding external market implications on business and people strategy, industries, markets, customers, and HR practices.
  • Implementing Global and National HR Strategies, aligned with local needs.
  • Leading the implementation of HR programs and initiatives across Canada, collaborating with Centres of Excellence.
  • Coaching and enabling leaders and management to be effective leaders.
  • Identifying change management needs and championing related activities.
  • Driving discussions on workforce planning and organization design changes, providing recommendations.
  • Partnering with business leaders to analyze and drive cultural change in line with business strategy.
  • Enabling local business to develop a diverse talent pipeline.
  • Guiding the business on HR programs, processes, and policies.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent professional certification.
  • 5-7 years of experience in an HR Business Consultant/Partner capacity, preferably in a global matrixed organization.
  • Experience with relevant HR systems, such as Fusion, MS Office, and Workday.
  • Professionalism, discretion, coaching, presentation skills, and flexibility to travel to other locations.
  • Fluency in French is considered an asset.

What We Offer

This role comes with an estimated annual salary range of $85,000 - $120,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
