At On-time Freight Inc, we are seeking an Administrative Support Professional to join our team. As an Administrative Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, including establishing and implementing policies and procedures, recording and preparing minutes of meetings, and overseeing the classification and rating of occupations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient office operations
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Oversee the classification and rating of occupations to ensure accurate job descriptions
  • Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients and stakeholders
  • Manage contracts and agreements with vendors and partners
  • Manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform business decisions
  • Answer electronic enquiries from clients and stakeholders
  • Oversee the development of communication strategies to promote the company's brand and values
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information to support business decisions
  • Oversee the preparation of reports to stakeholders, including financial reports and performance metrics
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations
  • Oversee payroll administration to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Perform data entry to maintain accurate records and reports
  • Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field
  • Delegate work to office support staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure successful outcomes
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment to ensure smooth operations
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they meet company standards
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 35 hours per week
