Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes and leading a team of production staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and implemented
  • Provide training to production staff on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Lead and motivate the production team to achieve work goals and objectives
  • Coordinate manpower and daily meetings to ensure efficient production
  • Communicate with Team Leaders on other shifts to ensure seamless operations
  • Aware of hourly targets and report downtime to management
  • Resolve problems and escalate issues as necessary
  • Monitor and report on parts inventory, production supplies, and cycle counts
  • Complete audits and quality checks to ensure high-quality products
  • Implement new principles and practices to improve production efficiency
  • Check and balance schedules, performance, and corrective measures
  • Ensure work areas are clean, neat, and orderly

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or GED
  • Familiarity with Marwood processes and procedures
  • Plex and computer skills
  • Leadership skills and good communication skills
