About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Build It Back. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Operating power vibrators to compact concrete and level the top surface according to grade and depth specification.
- Imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures to ensure a secure and durable finish.
- Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect them from the elements.
- Waterproofing, damp proofing and restoring surfaces to their original condition.
- Repairing, resurfacing and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in concrete finishing.
- Physically demanding work environment with handling of heavy loads.
- Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary equipment.
What We Offer:

- 30 to 45 hours of work per week.
