Job Title: Physiotherapy Team Lead

About the Role:
Osoyoos Physiotherapy and Active Wellness Centre is seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join our team as a Physiotherapy Team Lead. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of our physiotherapy programs.

About You:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated physiotherapist with a Master's degree in physiotherapy and experience in supervising staff. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Your strong judgment and problem-solving skills will enable you to make informed decisions that support the growth and success of our centre.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Physiotherapy Team Lead, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Assessing patients' physical abilities and developing personalized treatment plans
  • Supervising technical and support staff to ensure they are providing high-quality care to our patients
  • Hiring and training new staff members to maintain a skilled and motivated team
  • Ordering and purchasing equipment to support our physiotherapy programs
  • Planning and implementing physiotherapy programs to meet the needs of our patients
  • Administering the budget for our physiotherapy department to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Selecting appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations to support patient rehabilitation
  • Maintaining accurate clinical and progress reports to track patient outcomes
  • Collaborating with other health professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients
  • Teaching and supervising exercises to patients to promote their independence and self-care
  • Carrying out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
  • Have a Master's degree in physiotherapy from a recognized institution
  • Hold current registration with the relevant professional association (e.g., College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia)
  • Have a minimum of [insert number] years of experience in a similar role

Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including dental and health care plans. This is a permanent full-time position with 30-40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
