About the Role:
Alberta Ltd. is seeking a skilled Cabinet Finisher to join our team. As a Cabinet Finisher, you will be responsible for making minor adjustments and repairs to furniture, preparing, sanding, and trimming wooden furniture and fixture parts, and assembling wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles.
Responsibilities:
- Make minor adjustments and repairs to furniture
- Prepare, sand, and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts
- Assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Apply toners, highlights, glazes, or shaders to obtain desired finish
- Reinforce assembled furniture and fixtures with dowels or other supports
- Make minor repairs to furniture
