Overview

We are looking for a talented Staff Accountant to join our Audit team at KPMG in Canada. As a Staff Accountant, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality audit services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the audit of clients to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Review financial statements and related notes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Test internal controls to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Perform financial and systems analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients to deliver exceptional service.

Requirements:
  • Accounting/business diploma.
  • Enrolled in the CPA program.
  • Minimum 1 year of auditing experience with a public accounting firm.
  • Proficient knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality services to clients.
