Culinary Role at YMCA Camp Elphinstone

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at YMCA Camp Elphinstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving meals to participants and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for large groups
  • Assist with inventory and stock management
  • Provide exceptional customer service to participants and staff
  • Ensure a high level of quality, cleanliness, and safety in food preparation
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment

Requirements:

  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C
  • Food Safe level 1 certification
  • Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a camp environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
