Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Little Lions Childcare & Preschool Inc.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Assistant will work under the supervision of early childhood educators to provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create individualized learning plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized childcare environment, including housekeeping and cooking duties.
  • Support early childhood educators in record-keeping and reporting.
  • Engage children in activities that promote creativity, physical activity, and social skills.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for meals and rest periods.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and report to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and plan for future activities.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability.
Work Environment:

Our childcare center is a non-smoking, air-conditioned facility that provides a safe and healthy environment for children to learn and grow.

Language:

The primary language of communication is English.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week.
