We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Specialist to join our team at Kawartha Credit Union Ltd. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a strong understanding of financial planning and management.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a post-secondary education with an emphasis in financial planning or management. Additionally, we require a Level II Life License, IRROC License, and Financial Planning Designation.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct personal interviews with clients, identify their needs and goals, develop an appropriate financial plan, and make recommendations.
  • Provide clients with retirement planning, investment counseling, estate planning, and life and insurance services.
  • Create and maintain client files, and reports on activities to the Senior Manager of Wealth.
  • Promote the credit union's investment and insurance services through the Aviso program in the community.
  • Support Credit Union staff on wealth management products.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education with an emphasis in financial planning or management.
  • Level II Life License.
  • IRROC License.
  • Financial Planning Designation.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan.
