Employment Liaison Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Liaison to join our team at the YMCA of Three Rivers. As an Employment Liaison, you will play a critical role in providing employment services and technical training to newcomers wishing to pursue a career in the skilled trades.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and select program participants
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions
  • Connect program participants with local employers in the industry
  • Provide employment consultation and career planning services
  • Research and develop marketing materials to promote employment services and programs
  • Collaborate with community partners and employers to build relationships and secure work placements
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
  • Experience in job development, marketing, and employment counseling
  • Knowledge of the skilled trades in Ontario
  • Ability to work with diverse individuals and employers
