Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Construction Site Manager to oversee our residential construction projects. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits package.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a similar role, supervising workers and projects, co-ordinating and scheduling activities, recruiting and hiring staff, training personnel, estimating costs and materials, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise construction workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to maintain a skilled and efficient team.
  • Estimate costs and materials for each project, taking into account labor, equipment, and supply expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and addressing any concerns promptly.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; post-secondary education or certification in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior construction management role, preferably in the residential sector.
  • Proven track record of supervising large-scale projects, meeting deadlines, and staying within budget.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of construction professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues before they impact project timelines or budgets.
Work Environment

This position requires working on-site at our residential construction projects, which may involve extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
