The Team Lead at Roots is a key position that links the leadership team and sales associates by assisting in operational functions and motivating the team to exceed goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in operational functions of the store, including POS management and daily banking procedures.
  • Provide support and coverage to Store and Assistant Managers in their absence.
  • Model desired selling and customer service behaviors at all times.
  • Lead a sales team and promote an environment focused on exceptional customer experience.
  • Collaborate with others and be self-motivated.
  • Available for varied weekly shifts, including weekends, closing, and holidays.

  • Ensuring team receives scheduled breaks and/or meal periods.
  • Creating an open outward communication on the sales floor.
  • Ensuring adherence to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Performing opening and closing procedures and any inventory duties as directed.

Requirements
  • 1+ years of related experience in a retail apparel environment, luxury retail experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead a sales team and be viewed as a leader among peers.
  • Proven experience with POS management, daily banking procedures, and submitting timely reports.
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for upholding an exceptional customer experience.
  • Collaborate with others, yet be self-motivated.
  • Available for varied weekly shifts, including weekends, closing, and holidays.
