Job Summary

Aspire Bakeries is a leading North American baking company with a strong presence in the specialty frozen baked goods market. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Co-Op Student to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Engineer with projects related to product development, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
  • Work on drawings, including updating existing plant layouts and technical drawings related to specific projects and equipment.
  • Help with engineering and process projects focused on improving the manufacturing area.
  • Provide assistance in updating and accuracy of line layouts and line improvements.
  • Assist with installation of equipment related to new product start-up.
  • Contribute to line efficiency and improvement projects.
  • Input into project layout and design.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Understanding of processes related to manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
