Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled carpenter to join our team as a construction specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing layouts in conformance to building codes, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Scheduling and co-ordinating work on sites
  • Surveying building locations and levels
  • Instructing apprentices

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in carpentry
  • Ability to work at heights and outdoors
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
