About the Role

Golf Ontario is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to serve as a member of our Board of Directors. As a trustee of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of golf in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a steward of Golf Ontario's mission and vision, ensuring that our organization remains true to its core values.
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to our leadership team, ensuring that we are meeting our goals and objectives.
  • Participate in quarterly Board meetings and committee work, contributing to the development and implementation of our strategic plan.
  • Represent Golf Ontario at various events and functions, promoting our brand and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong passion for the sport of golf and a commitment to building healthy communities.
  • Financial expertise, including knowledge and experience with investments and foundations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, building trusting relationships with our facilities and golf partners.
  • Strong governance skills, with a focus on upholding our By-Law and determining policy.
