Job Summary

Purolator is seeking a reliable and skilled Relief Courier to join our team. As a hybrid role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading packages from conveyor belts and trucks, as well as delivering packages to customers in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scan packages / mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day
  • Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
  • Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
  • Unload all curbside vehicles and load line haul trailers to ensure all pre-scheduled departures are met
Requirements

Completion of High School and valid Class 5 driver's license is required. 3 years of driving experience and clean driver's abstract are also necessary. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

This role will require working in a warehouse environment and on the road. The Relief Courier will be exposed to variable weather conditions and will be required to lift up to 70 pounds.
