Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at Mr Fix Computers Ltd. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer networks and providing top-notch support to our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate access and use of computer networks to ensure efficient data transfer and communication.
  • Install and configure software and hardware to meet the needs of our users.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and user data.
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures and maintain control records.
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software to optimize server performance.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in a relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in computer network administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS Office and MS Windows proficiency.
  • Knowledge of software development and information technology.
  • Experience with network traffic and security monitoring software.
