Your Role:

  • Lead a professional team managing complex hedge funds and clients, overseeing accountants, maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with colleagues from other Citco offices.
  • Review daily/weekly P&L/NAV estimates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Supervise monthly/weekly NAV accounting work, guaranteeing compliance and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members when needed, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Liaise with clients on monthly reporting packages, addressing queries and concerns.
  • Coordinate with auditors, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of issues.
  • Prepare responses to client inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Assess administrative/accounting procedures, recommending improvements to enhance NAV production processes.
  • Maintain SLA agreements with clients and other Citco offices, promoting compliance and cooperation.
  • Negotiate SLAs with clients and other Citco offices, driving mutually beneficial arrangements.
  • Support new fund setups, conversions, and migrations, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Aid in converting new clients, facilitating their integration into our services.
  • Ensure adherence to internal and external audit standards, upholding Citco's high standards.
  • Keep control checklists up-to-date and utilized, guaranteeing efficient operations.
  • Work with managers to allocate staff and workflow efficiently, maximizing productivity.
  • Inform Senior Management of material issues affecting deliverables, enabling proactive decision-making.
  • Assist with implementing training initiatives, enhancing staff skills and knowledge.
  • Support ad-hoc report requests and operations metrics, as required by management.

About You:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, or related fields, or an accounting qualification.
  • 5+ years in financial services, with experience in accounting for hedge/mutual funds or investment companies.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory/managerial experience, demonstrating leadership skills and expertise.
  • Solid understanding of accounting entries and allocations, with excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated product knowledge, including domestic, global, and OTC security markets, fixed income, and derivatives.
  • Possess strong customer relationship skills, with experience in system implementations and workflow process initiatives.
  • Strong Excel experience, with ability to analyze complex data and provide insights.
