We are a dynamic and fast-paced food service company seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager Assistant to join our team at McMe Foods. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a busy restaurant environment, overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager Assistant is responsible for assisting the restaurant manager in planning, organizing, and implementing daily restaurant operations. Key responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, coordinating menu planning, maintaining inventory, controlling labor costs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the restaurant manager in preparing and managing menus, including menu engineering, pricing, and promotions;
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff on food preparation, presentation, and service standards;
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including ordering and receiving supplies, and managing stock levels;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies to increase sales and revenue;
  • Collaborate with the restaurant manager to create and implement budgets, forecasts, and reports;
  • Ensure that all staff members adhere to company policies, procedures, and health and safety protocols;
  • Maintain excellent communication with customers, colleagues, and vendors;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality, business administration, or a related field preferred;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably in a management or supervisory role;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and guide staff;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities;
  • Proficiency in basic math concepts, including budgeting and cost control;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing situations;
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software applications, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management tools.
