Job Description:

  • Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Job Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and maintain working relationships with business stakeholders, technology partners, and other functions to drive risk management initiatives.
  2. Engage business stakeholders to understand and document current state processes and end-to-end data flows.
  3. Apply strategic thinking to recommend interim and target operating models that optimize business processes and enrich data used for reporting and analytics.
  4. Chair meetings to socialize recommendations with stakeholder groups and obtain buy-in.
  5. Complete data profiling to support documentation of business rules and solution design.
  6. Document business requirements for validation with subject matter experts.
  7. Collaborate with the Technology team to define digital solutions that support recommended operating models.
  8. Lead business testing activities for new features and prepare release reports.
  9. Support change management activities, including documentation, communication, and product demos.
  10. Maintain and contribute to the prioritization of user feedback and defect logs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in a business or technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services and risk management.
  • Experience contributing to the implementation of new risk management solutions.
  • Detailed-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Business Banking Credit Risk processes, policies, and guidelines is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Business Banking credit and limit monitoring systems is an asset.
  • Experience with different project delivery approaches (e.g., waterfall, agile) is an asset.
