Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Technologist with experience in mechanical testing, analysis, and design. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough analyses and testing of mechanical systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects, providing accurate and timely quotations to clients.
  • Prepare and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications, communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Supervise maintenance programs, operation of mechanical plants, and construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems, promoting efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a design and maintenance role.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, and organized approach to work.
