About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Decommissioning Lead to join our team, responsible for leading the strategic decommissioning process supporting the Cloud Acceleration Program (CAP). This role requires effective communications, strategic planning, management, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and executes detailed decommissioning plans and schedules, considering constraints such as project timelines, resource requirements and potential risks, to minimize disruption to business activities and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Partners with project teams, including internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Closely collaborates with the Senior Manager, Migration Lead to ensure plans are aligned and tracks program benefits to capture value as hardware/software is no longer used.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in IT Project Management and business/industry.
  • PMP, Process Improvement, Change Management, and Agile Certifications are considered assets.
