Trotman Auto Group, a leading diversified dealer group, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their team. As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and achieving departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of Sales Consultants to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales revenue and improve customer satisfaction
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Provide coaching and training to Sales Consultants on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service skills
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience and achieve business objectives
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
- Manage customer issues and escalations, ensuring prompt and effective resolution
- Recruit and develop high-performing Sales Consultants who share our company's values and standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive sales management, preferably in a dealership environment
- Valid VSA license and Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
